Fed is back at Roland Garros 2019 and its great for tennis fans the world over. Having skipped the French Open as well as other clay court tournaments for the past 2 years, this year in 2019 he has decided to make a return to clay, a surface he actually grew up playing on. Federer actually plays well on clay, having won the French Open in 2009 and being runner-up 4 times in his career so far on the red Roland Garros clay, losing all 4 times to Nadal, who many consider the best clay-court player of his generation.
Enjoy watching Roger on clay where on this "slower"surface, he can slide and possibly have more time to showcase his amazing ball-hitting skills. Its not going to be easy for Federer as he is on the same half of the draw with Nadal. However never doubt what magic Roger can conjure up! Lets sit back and enjoy this amazing tennis player (while we can!) before he finally hangs up his racquet (which realistically could happen within the next 3 years (yikes!)
